Ingredients

Dairy and fats

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (⅜ stick)

Dry ingredients

  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Chicken wings

  • 10-12 pieces chicken wingettes (tips removed; thawed if frozen)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and dot with butter.
  • Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Coat wings in flour mixture and place on baking sheet with butter pieces.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, then flip wings.
  • Bake for an additional 15 minutes until crispy. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
