This quick and flavorful marinade adds a zesty kick to meats and vegetables, perfect for a fast meal prep.

Ingredients

Meat or Veggies

  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 2 limes limes, zested and juiced
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped or grated
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
  • 2 teaspoons ancho chile powder (see Recipe Notes)
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1.5 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions 

  • Add olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, agave, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Whisk to combine.
  • Pour marinade over meat or vegetables. Cover and refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
  • Cook your marinated meat or veggies as desired. Enjoy!

Notes

This marinade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
